Serving on one of our five focus group committees (Arts & Culture, Education, Environment & Revitalization, Family, Health & Wellness) is one of the most important ways to participate in Impact100 Greater Milwaukee. Training and instruction on the Impact100 grants process is provided to all members. Participating on an FAC is an opportunity to learn about the needs of our community and those who are striving to meet those needs.
Help Review the Financial Disposition of the Grant Applicants
The Financial Review Committees (FRCs) are responsible for reviewing the financial information submitted by nonprofit organizations during the grant application process. The FRC in-depth review evaluates an organization’s financial stability and evidence of its accounting compliance. Familiarity with accounting and financial statements is essential for FRC members. The FRCs serve as liaisons to the Focus Area Committees (FACs) by assisting in review of grant proposals and preparing FAC members for site visits to the nonprofit organizations being considered as grant award finalists.
